joy
in the holy spirit
Dearly
beloved siblings in the Lord, the Lord lives. My love and my joy can not
be described because God has set before us an open door which no one can shut,
the door of life and the reason why is because the fullness of time has come
for all of us to regenerate our lives with God. To live the life which our Holy
Father, our heavenly Father has secured for us all through His Son. To live the
eternal life, the incorruptible life which is given today to all those who have
the capacity to understand the full wisdom of God's plan. The “man of this
world” (here Thomas is referring to the person that is not spiritual and
does not study God) does not understand God’s plan, unfortunately. This
“man of the world” or “worldly man” does not recognize God’s plan and therefore
sees it as folly. He cannot recognize it because his diabolical mind will not
allow him to understand that it is God's will, filled with truth. (here
Thomas seems to be a bit harsh calling the worldly man’s mind diabolical but in
reality this is the case. When we grow up in an environment where we have no
connection with God, we will tend to emulate the world around us and since the
devil has been placed on the planet to rule this world we in turn adopt his
conscious. We in the Voice of God do not see the Devil as a sinister looking
goat headed beast. It is a spirit. It is a servant of God and has been placed
here as a trainer for our spiritual education. To help us experience all the
bad there could be so that we become perfect in understanding of what is right
and wrong and from our own free will we choose to do the right. By doing so we
will fulfill scripture where Moses says in Genesis where God created us in His
image and in His likeness. His likeness can only happen once we
experience the wrong in all its manifestations whether it is be fear, anger,
lying, wickedness, jealousy, etc and consciously remove it from all lives) We today are
living God's wisdom and the joy that it brings because we are actively
searching to increase our understanding of this wisdom. The whole human race
can do the same today through the Voice of God.
My
siblings, the Son and the Word of the living God has opened before us and
revealed not only the door of life but the way we can get there through the
changes He can make in our daily lives by adopting His wisdom. He will steer
our lives to a place where it is governed by indescribable joy. Because it is
recognized that life without joy and without the particular joy of the Holy
Spirit can not be a qualitative and beautiful life. My siblings, Christ’s glory
has started to live within us, giving us new ways to communicate with God, with
our neighbor, with our brother, with our enemy, and with all of creation by
exercising in us elements of noble (without
self-interest) quests for excellence, (with God’s
spirit we will stop focusing only on our personal needs and start looking out
for the needs of others, striving continually to improve and push forward the
human race) seeking what through centuries of ignorance, sin has
sucked away and vanished from human logic and that is none other than the life
that Jesus, our beloved, our eternal brother and our God recommends to us. It
is only through the Holy Spirit that His complete will can be achieved and it
will appear when the biological body transfigures from the corruptible to the
incorruptible, because God is God of the living and not of the dead.
My
siblings the spirit of God alters in a qualitative and quantitative manner this
life we have today.(In a qualitative manner we see that we have
less fear, less anxiety, less worrying, more happiness, more love, more hope.
In a quantitative manner as such that we live longer and have more productive
lives). The life we have today is tedious, unpredictable, diabolical filled with
many daily controversies and conflicts with ourselves and with those around us. My siblings, today we will talk
about the joy of the Holy Spirit and how to ensure it in our lives. We will
talk about the fruit of the Holy Spirit (joy), which is second in line after
love, the daughter of love. The joy which we can secure in our lives only
through the Holy Spirit. In the Word of God we will find the joy of God's
Spirit in many sections of the New and the Old Testament. Today we will say a
few words about this joy. Joy is the fruit of God, it is the holy fruit that
with the corresponding regeneration removes misery, lying, decay (corruption),
and death. All of which till now have prevailed in our lives. The reason why
this joy removes these bad elements is because in studying the word of God on a
daily basis, we acquire His wisdom and we synchronize our spirit with God’s
spirit. As such, through the Holy Spirit, we find ways and discover (or invent)
systems of salvation, regeneration, repentance ensuring this happiness in our
daily lives.
Today
people through society’s ignorance of God’s principles and teachings, have
ensured division amongst ourselves (every one criticizes), there are conflicts,
sicknesses, corruption, and death. Happiness has been suppressed while grief
and problems are painted on people’s faces, overpowering their lives. The time
has now come for all of us to preserve our life. Our Father-God will have us
preserve this life in a qualitative and quantitative way by applying the
following three principles:
a)
always rejoicing,
b)
praying constantly,
c) and
giving thanks for everything.
And the
way? Simple. God’s Word reveals that applying the concepts of always rejoicing,
praying constantly, and giving thanks for all things will lead to the most effective
way of coexistence for all rational beings on the planet. In order for us to
succeed in always rejoicing, constantly praying, and giving thanks for all
things, we must forget our own logic at all costs, the same logic that has been
developed by the logic of this world. We must place ourselves one hundred
percent in the hands of God and believe the Gospel of Christ and God’s logic.
In order for us to live in the joy of God's eternal wisdom, to live in God’s
life which was guaranteed to us by the Father - God through His Son’s sacrifice
on the cross and is developing today through the Holy Ghost in the Voice of
God, it is important, imperative, required, and needed that we get to get to
know Christ. To make him our friend, our brother. Someone will say to me, we
don’t know Christ? Surely we all know Him. We know Him as the Son of God and
that He came into this world 2000 years ago. He preached the Gospel and
performed miracles. We know Him as a person but He really does not occupy our
everyday lives. We don’t know Him as a counselor, as a guide to our lives, as a
brother. We don’t know Him as a reformer of the world, as a role model and the
reason why is because we honor Him only with our words. We are far removed from
His teachings and His works which today should have encompassed our lives and
generally the lives of all Christians regardless of denomination. We though, in
the Voice of God, want to get to know Him deeper, to have Him live in us
because it is through Him that we have what is needed to overcome the bad
habit that we have had in us from this transient (short lived) world. The bad
habit which we have adopted and that now leads us off course. We should leave
from the usual rhythm (ideology) that until yesterday was adopted as our logic.
The same logic that causes us to lose our joy. In its stead we should put
ourselves into God’s logic and wisdom. Let’s live according to God’s *rhythm
which if we trust in it, it will increase our faith and will transform this
faith from shadowy to living faith. In this
context, ‘’shadowy’’ means that it is a glimpse of the real faith but not the
real faith. In Hebrews 10:1 Paul states “For the law having a shadow of good
things to come, and not the very image of the things….” . Our love will
become real (and similar
to God’s love) and our joy will be governed by Always
Rejoicing. Now this
may sound a bit confusing so let’s take a little example, how happy would you
be if God made His appearance in your life, you would be able to converse with
Him, if you had any troubles you would ask Him for advice and He would guide
you, if you had a sickness or had a loved one who was sick, He would heal them.
If you needed something material but you lacked the money, you would just ask
and He would get it for you or better yet He would give you the power to get it
yourself. Nothing would get you down, you would be in a state of constant joy.
This is the joy we will experience in our lives once we make God our focus.
*God’s
rhythm, is like an energy. It encompases elements that give us life and
strength to overcome any obstacle that limits our spiritual growth. Think of
God’s rhythm as a clean, self healing, high octane fuel.
The
miracle which the prophets and God’s people have been asking for and pursuing
for centuries, will occur in our lives. Today is “the fullness of time” for all
that is written and prophesied to be fulfilled. and for God’s wisdom to be
functioning within us until we all become the image of the invincible God.
In today’s society, we are happy when we have money, or when we hear
something positive said about us, or when we hear good words spoken of us, when
we have acquired a good position in society which makes others envious or when
we make a purchase. The sources of happiness are specific. Even though the
majority of them are not really sources of happiness. People have conceived
them as sources of happiness saying: if I do this deal then I will be happy. If
this person fails in the same exam that I am taking and I succeed then I will
be happy. It is therefore a prefabricated happiness that we seek. A happiness
that is often times based on lies since we laugh without being happy. The
laughter or happiness is predicated on “if so and so happens first”. Deep down
within us though bitterness and sadness hide themselves.
Within
the man of God though, God’s happiness is different. It is consistent and
unwavering no matter what circumstances life throws at it. This is true
happiness, it is practical, spontaneous (not premeditated
or conditional), and constant. It is a happiness that does not
require any precondition because the only reason the man of God is happy is
because God lives within him.
Happy
is the person who has reached a spiritual level whereby he does not require
reasons to be happy and this is because the miracle of God is present and alive
in his everyday life. Many ask me, “give me a reason why I should be happy”. I
have discovered them and they are simple:
1) I am
not dead, and we are not dead. We are alive yet others have lost their lives
for one reason or another.
2) We
are logical beings, we are humans. We have been created in the image of the
invisible God, and have been given the power to evolve with the proper and
appropriate purpose to reach a level where we can become
a)
inheritors of God
b)
co-inheritors with Jesus
c)
partners and partakers of His glory
These
two reasons are more than enough to make us happy. It is because of these two
reasons that we should wake up every morning laughing. From here onwards there
are many more reasons. The most fundamental or cornerstone (and actually the
most important) reason why we should be happy already exists and this is
because of God’s presence in our lives. Not only do we have His presence but
also the presence of our friends, our siblings (both physical and spiritual).
We also have our goals, our values and our aspirations which God has
given life to our lives through the holy Spirit. Even our enemies are a
cause for us to rejoice because it is through them that we correct
ourselves.
In fact
countless reasons exist for us to be happy. If these reasons were to be
written, a lot of books would be needed to fit them all in. Despite all these
reasons which he have spoken of here, the man of the world does not see them or
grasp them because God is missing from his life.
In the
Voice of God, our happiness is based upon God’s existence which is manifested
to us in many various ways. The man of God lives and experiences the miracle of
creation, the miracle of regeneration. The man of God lives the life of repentance
and lives the miracle of God’s wisdom. The man of God does not see things
negatively, he does not scheme, he does not abort happiness. Happiness is
a well within him because God’s presence is within him. His presence is in his
logic, his life, and all around him. Everything is a source of happiness for
him, because he is living the miracle. This miracle works through him and works
around everything that occurs in his everyday life. This miracle of God’s
spirit educates the man of God because he has something to learn from
everything.
The
Lord with His faultless spiritual example was fulfilling God’s will in happy
situations (Mount Tabor where he transfigured) and in difficult situations (on
the cross in Golgotha). In the presence of the hierarchs (of the synagogue), in
front of Pontius Pilate and in front of everyone else, he stood tall with a
beautiful spirit without pettiness but with seriousness and full of God’s
wisdom. The Lord took these difficult circumstances and transformed them to
blessings because He knew their solution. This demonstrates to us that every
obstacle or road block that today’s person encounters as being negative, a man
of God, with God’s spirit, receives it as a new spiritual lesson. (which once
completed will lead to a higher spiritual level, bringing us closer to God).
This does not mean that we should be asking God to bring us some problems so we
can solve them. We should not be saying, God bring us problems so we can
transform them into good, but when the bad does come, we must believe that with
God’s power and wisdom, we will be empowered to not only overcome them but
succeed. With this perspective of viewing things, all our supposed
problems will become something to study and learn, blessings from God. Imagine
what happiness this energy will create in our lives. If we study God’s wisdom,
happiness will always be authentic. We will encounter the same problems in some
way or another (in small or big doses) since we all live on the same planet.
The strange thing is though that for some it is a scourging (whipping) and for
others, God’s glory. I will give a simple everyday example. When children write
exams to attain a higher spiritual level of understanding, they feel discomfort
because they are not sure what they will face or if they can face it. When the
same children have studied and they know the subject, then this obstacle
becomes a game. In fact if any subject matter was given to them and they are
prepared they would be able to overcome it and this becomes the reason why they
have an indescribable happiness, a hope and a faith before and after the test.
The same thing happens in our lives. Everyday we encounter different
circumstances which frighten us. Even the thought that we may encounter a
setback, terrifies us. Often times most people imagine that a certain bad will
come to them and they subject themselves to such torment for something that may
never come. By doing so, they live continually in a world that is programmed
and designed in perpetual negativity, which quickly leads them to a dead end.
The man of God though has based his life on God’s wisdom, consequently God’s
miracle reverberates uninterrupted within him creating happiness. For what
initially looked negative, with the proper spiritual struggle now changes and
becomes positive. The word miracle means interference from God. This
interference occurs when our heart bows(figurative expression meaning when
we humble ourselves) and we ask for His help. If we continue our study
on the works of the Gospel, the time will come when we will have conquered all
our enemies, even corruption and death.
We all
know that our fight is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12) ‘but
against the powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world’. Our fight is
not amongst each other but against the spirits that when combined with
our thoughts, lead us to a dead end. Let
me give you an example. Someone who is stingy, he will think twice about buying
something expensive (or sometimes he might not buy anything at all) to bring to
a dinner where he is invited to dine with some friends. The host of that
dinner who probably went through great lengths to make sure the dinner was as
good as can be sees the petty gift that the invited has brought (or maybe did
not even bother to bring) and feels hurt, unappreciated, unrewarded for her
time and efforts. Do you think this host will invite this person to dinner
again? She may not have anything against the person but she does battle with
the concept of not being appreciated, people not saying thank you etc.
Unfortunately the person’s stinginess now identifies and defines him and
eventually isolates him (sometimes with him not even realizing, that this is
the spirit responsible for it) and leads him to a dead end where he cannot
practice sharing his love, and other good qualities with those around him.
Many
people don’t have a problem with their finances or in their interpersonal
relationships. In spite of all that though, they are not happy, something is
missing yet they don’t know what it is. The reason this happens is because the
sensors in their brain are not trained for God. Their sensors have deteriorated
because of their spiritual slothfulness and have not been able to receive
thoughts that can protect happiness under any circumstance. Continual happiness stems from continual
dialogue with God. I repeat, continual happiness stems from
continual dialogue with God.
There
are people whose hobby it is to search the unknown, to solve problems, just
like researchers who look at problems and try to find solutions. Researchers are known to be
objective, calm, cool and collected. They don’t look like they attach emotions
to everything they observe. In this way Jesus was similar, we do not see
him with emotion when solving humanity’s problems although we sometimes see Him
weep or be serious. His weeping and seriousness did not arise from his sadness
towards humanity’s problems but humanity’s lack of faith in confronting these
problems. For example: Jesus’ disciples said to Him (in Matthew 14:15) “Lord
there are a lot of people, send them to the villages to buy food”. The Lord
responds, “They need not go away. You give them food to eat.” Was the Lord not
toying with them here? Did he not know that His disciples were not able to feed
five thousand people? He knew. He just wanted to see His disciples’ reactions.
They immediately responded in Matthew 14:17, “We have here only five loaves of
bread and two fish” (something we would also say, believing only in what we
see). The Lord then says: “Bring them (the food) here to me” and He then tells
the multitude to sit on the grass. All of us know what happened next, He prayed
and He blessed the fish and the bread. All the people ate and the leftover food
numbered twelve baskets full. On this parable I would like to mention the
following story. There was a priest that was not that well educated. He was a
good person though who tried to put God first in his life. Someone who was
equally not as educated read to this priest this same parable about the fishes.
The result was that the uneducated person reading this passage, wrongly
interpreted it to the priest. The priest went to church the next day to give a
sermon on Jesus’s miracle. He stated that there were five people who ate five
thousand fish! One of the church goers asked him, “father didn’t these people’s
stomachs pop?” The priest responded, “that was the miracle, that these five
people ate five thousand fish and they didn’t explode.” I give this example so
that we can laugh, because neither do we in most instances understand the
meaning of God’s presence in our lives. What do I mean when I say this? A lot
of people have love and even though they are well intentioned, they don’t
really know what God’s will is in order that they can focus their efforts on
developing God’s wisdom. Instead they misunderstand or misconstrue God’s works
in error. Despite of all that, God does not see error, He does not look at the
words but the intent, and this He blesses. In another situation, in another
problematic setting we see again how the Lord works. They tell him, “Lord your
friend Lazarus is ill.” He responds, agreeing that indeed Lazarus is sick but
he will not die from this. He casually decides to stay for two more days before
walking back to Lazarus (another 2 day journey by foot). Four days in all
without any stress (or at least no signs of it). With Martha and Mary along
with a large crowd he visits Lazarus’ tomb. What did he do there? Something
that was simple to him, in regards to death, yet for us a complete mystery.
What did the simple God (Jesus) say at the tomb? He didn’t have a philosophical
discussion. What he said were simple words but with living faith. “Remove
the rock”. He then prayed and said, “thank you father because you have heard
me”. (that the Father has heard him is important). When do we know when God
hears us? When we fulfill God’s will. When we carry out God’s will, our
relationship with Him changes, we speak freely with Him, we are friends with
Him and He is friends with us). Afterwards, since they removed the rock, He
shouted “Lazarus come out” and he came. Jesus revealed in John 14:12 “whoever
believes in me will do the works I have been doing and they will do even
greater things than these”. If we know this , why don’t we become his
disciples? Jesus stated in John 20:29 “blessed are those who have not seen and
yet have believed”. We all belong to this “blessed” group today. It is to
us that He will give the promises which he foretold. The promises that spoke
about God’s relationship with man being restored and the breaking down of
the wall that divided God from man and caused man to die. This is why my
siblings problems exist, so we can solve them. If we find the solutions,
the problems will not exist and happiness will be at the forefront of our list
and in our lives. Happiness will continually be present in our
lives, it will be uninterrupted. We could easily spot a happy or a sad person.
Christ’s peace and living faith and not panic or aggravation will become the
template to resolve all our problems from now on. Let’s go and see some of the
problems in our present world. In the past, it was difficult to transport
people and goods. Today it is easy. In the past, there were great distances
between us, today with the means of communication and transportation, distances
have become trivial. In the past, small or big sicknesses led people to death.
Today many cures have been found for sicknesses. If researchers or scientists
hear about a problem, regarding an infection, they run to their laboratories to
find a way to beat the infection. If the world (the scientists) have the power
through their research to resolve these problems, imagine what we can do or
create with God’s power when His spirit comes within us. Christ Himself
revealed: “the spirit is the one that gives life”. Life is beautiful and cannot
be exchanged for billions. Studying God brings man happiness. For the man of
God, problems become the greatest source of happiness since they give birth to
repentance. This repentance brings forth salvation and completes our regeneration.
The man of God finds solutions to overcome and succeed through the Holy Spirit,
through prayer and through his own struggle. If he doesn’t find the solution
there, he earnestly seeks it in the word of God (the bible). He is glad when
the solution is found. He does not give up easily. God’s happiness is a
creation which invites us to research (and understand how God works), helps us
to repent (to understand what is real happiness instead of what we thought it
was), helps us to regenerate (find elements in His words that give life and
slow our bodily corruption) with an end result leading us to become gods
ourselves.
With
this way of reasoning, happiness will work and exist in our lives on a daily
basis. If we don’t listen to what is revealed here (In the Voice of God) and we
don’t concern ourselves daily about God, then the complaining, the lies, the
ego, the wickedness, our personal interests, or illnesses will steal our
happiness and misery will take its place, overcoming our whole being. We are
like those in the parable that Jesus reveals in Matthew 13:18 “Listen then to
what the parable of the sower means… the seed is the word of God…. The seed
falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once
receives it with joy but since they have no root, they last only a short time.
When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.”
Our love and passion for God has to be continually inside us and constantly
growing.
The
person of God, falls in love with God and this love increases with the passage
of time. A person of God does not erase the holy spirit, instead he tries to
increase it. He does not dogmatize (have a fixed set of rules and belief
system), something that would limit him. Instead he lets himself be free so
that God may find many doors to enter into his life. In the same parable later
on it states, “to many is the word of God sown but the cares of the world
choke it”. We have good will and intent to carry out God’s will but many tasks
and concerns of this world choke our will. If we understand apply what we
are saying, what the word of God and the Voice of God are saying, then we will
be like the good earth which accepted the seed (God’s wisdom) and grew into a
huge tree full of wisdom, strength, and good fruit whereupon everyone finds
rest. The Voice of God is making a global spiritual coming together so that
everyone can regenerate.
When
the disciples followed the Lord, the reformer of this world, they later tried
to go out and confront real problems. In Luke 10:17 they said to Jesus, “Lord,
even the demons submit to us in your name”.
My
siblings, it is absolutely true that after the fall of man (Adam leaving
paradise) and his distancing from God, the world and pretty much the logic of
all its inhabitants was filled with spiritual toxins and evil waste. As a
natural consequence, everything went wrong, since everyone else is at fault (no
more introspection to think maybe we are at fault), since everyone looks like
they are seeking to have problems in their lives, since when everyone is
meeting each other, they are telling each other their problems hoping that they
will be congratulated. Sadly everyone is miserable. The wrong, along with
conflict and sin have filled the world with problems. A wrong way of life has
overshadowed the planet, which has hidden and stolen God’s happiness.
Today
though, all this is changing for each one of us. These problems were in our
past because today God has made the decision to create the man of God. This is
why the Voice of God exists today. Its purpose is to spiritually focus us on
the workings of God and make them the centerpoint of our lives. (Thomas says
that they will have to steal
the show of our lives). How do we start?
1)
First: In John 16:24 it states “until now, you have not asked anything in my
name; ask and you shall receive, that your joy should be filled.” Here God
introduces prayer. He reveals that He wants us to work with Him through prayer
for anything that is on our mind. The solution He gives us though may not be
a)
agreeable to what we thought it would be
b) what
we may have understood it to be
c) what
we wanted it to be,
but we
must accept this new solution. Let us work with an example: Where does sickness
come from? Surely in most circumstances it comes from wrongful living. Through
sickness, God is warning us (we can also say recommending us) to change our way
of life, our way of thinking. With happiness, with the word of God, with His
logic and with His tangible wisdom, the healing will come. Science (which the
bible calls the confirmation of the age, or the confirmation that the time is
near) reveals that anger, fear, worrying, anxiety, and stress wear us down and
cause psychosomatic illnesses because they affect our cellular tissue. Cell
reproduction or the lack of, is dependent on how man copes with stimuli on a
daily basis. Christ himself when He wanted to revive someone or cure them of
their affliction would explicitly state and reveal verses like in Matthew 3:2
“repent for the kingdom of heaven has come near”. (In other words, through
repentance by understanding what we have done or thought about and deciding to
change it because we now know better, we will bring the kingdom of heaven to
our life.)
When we
follow the path of this world, in most instances it will lead us to a dead end.
When we follow God’s logic, our spirituality will increase every day and our
problems will leave. Stimuli become problems when we don’t know the solution.
When we learn the answer through repentance, or through regeneration then
problems will not exist. Let us learn to solve problems by adopting and
developing Christ’s essential teachings and the regenerative teachings of the
Voice of God in our life. With these two weapons in our hands we will become
sons of God. If we are engaging with God and we find that our problems
are increasing then we are not really following Christ (who had no problems)
but we are following our own wants and fabricating God according to our own
standard. It is when we have problems that our spiritual level is exposed.
Oftentimes this spiritual level does not surpass a ten year old’s who through
his ignorance of God’s word is scared of everything. A ten year old’s spiritual
level could be someone who is much older in physical age but he still whines,
complains and criticizes. Even though we are older in age, our spiritual knowledge
in relation to God remains infantile because we have not really progressed. In
instances that we encountered problems we pressed the brakes, we resorted to the regular tactics
of getting angry, getting vindictive, getting even with he who offended us,
laid the blame on others than ourselves. We did this instead of asking
ourselves what does God want me to learn from this? What is good about this
situation or purpose? where can I show God’s wisdom and love in this? Asking
ourselves these questions instead of resorting to the typical emotions causes
the spiritual growth within us.
A
person who does not grow spiritually is someone who when confronted with
problems, cannot solve them. He cries out so others can hear him, and have
sympathy and compassion for him or even give him attention. The man of God does
not develop in this manner. The man of God knows when to lose some and knows
when to win some. Both winning and losing become lessons for him because
through these high and lows he has learned to acquire a physical and spiritual
balance.
If we
rehash problems continually, we don’t leave room for happiness. Don’t expect to
succeed in happiness when we preoccupy ourselves with pettiness, anger,
whining, complaining, and criticism. Siblings, when we have problems we have to
seek and ask for a solution to our problems. The greatest advisor for any and
all of our personal problems is God’s word, Christ. Christ has all the
solutions for any personal or general (worldly) problem.Christ became the
solution because as it is stated in Hebrews 2:18, “for in that he himself has
suffered, being tempted. He is able to aid those who are tempted”. It does not
benefit us to talk about problems, it benefits us to talk about solutions. That
is of course if we really want solutions. If we don’t want solutions, it means
that we like problems because in someway or another is satisfies some of other
wants. We can have others interested in us, taking care of us. Both elements
which display our immaturity. We have to think about it, do we hold onto our
problems so others may take notice of us? I will say something more
progressive, more logical, more spiritual. If we are capable of not having
problems, we will have others observe us even more and they will want to copy
us. Besides, why do we love God? It is because we believe that he can solve our
problems.
Jesus
said in Matthew 11:28, “come to me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I
will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle
and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy
and my burden is light”. If we don’t want to have problems, why don’t we
go close to God? Why don’t we chose Jesus’ words where He says “follow me”, if
he is capable of making us in His image and His likeness? Why don’t we chose to
become heirs, co-heirs and partakers of God’s glory? If all our nation had
Christ in it, we would be able to surpass anything because the excess of one
person would compensate for the lack in another, for example: If someone was a
farmer and had an abundance of crops, his crops would serve to feed those who
didn’t have anything to eat, likewise those who didn’t have anything to eat
could've been tailors or mechanics who could make clothing and equipment for
the farmer to wear and work with.
Often
times we don’t know what to ask from God or even know what we want. We search
for employment and then we spend all our time whining about how hard we are
working, how tired we are and what else we can be doing instead. If we are
fired from this job then we whine again. Why don’t we serve with gladness that
which we wanted since it was from our own free will that we searched for this
job? Why is it that when we look back and see that we have gotten what we have wanted,
we still felt like we were at a dead end? Not realizing that having a job is a
blessing.
Everything
when taken with God’s spirit, contributes to the pure and good. For example If
we decide to start a new business. If we are the ones that made the decision,
why are we whining? If we don’t want it, let’s sell it and let’s try to live
with less creature comforts, let’s live simple. If we want to start a family,
why do we whine afterwards? Did anyone force us to start this family? For what
reason do we whine all the time, when it is we that have brought these things
in our life and eventually lose our happiness? Surely if we continue to live
this way of life, it will lead us to a dead end.
My
siblings, if we go back in time, we will see that things that exist today and
we consider as absolute necessities, did not exist back then. What made these
things so important? Evolution and habit made them so. If we entrust ourselves
to God’s word, then we will see that we will discard many things that are not
needed in our lives. God will take care of our needs with His distinct, special
and unique way. I remember in the past when everyone thought that aspirin was
the greatest medicine. If it didn’t exist though, we would have found something
else. Today we can take drugs to put us to sleep which did not exist before.
What happened to us today to cause us to need these drugs? It is simple.
Progress (in its many formats like technology, science etc), marketing and
advertising of the product has reached our ears through mass media. The reason
why we need drugs now is because something has been created in our minds as a
result of how we are living or have become in our society’s system. This system
has disoriented the proper functioning of our minds and as a result our brain
does not produce the proteins required for us to sleep or be happy. Our brain
is not able to properly complete biological processes which coordinate our
cells to produce life and allow our body to live naturally. Since a man of God
is not present amongst us to put forward all that is revealed in the Voice of
God, we resort to medications or other scientific advances to find a solution.
The man
of God is being created by God’s decree (or commandment) within the Voice of
God because each one of us is going into their respective sanctuaries* to learn
and to live with the Father-God. Once our mind starts working with God and we
apply patience and perseverance, our body will not hurt or get sick. Man will
not face depression so that he may need anti depressants. He will not die but
live eternally because within him God lives.
*
sanctuary: is our private designated place where we could go study and learn
about how God works. It could be a room in your house or a tree house in the
forest. What it should be is a place free of disruption of any kind. Preferably
quiet where your mind can process concepts and ideas about God in a state of
peace. A place equipped with a desk and a comfortable chair where you could
read, write, and study.
Does it
not state in John 8:51 “If a man keeps my saying, he shall never taste death?
Does it not state in the book Wisdom of Solomon (in the septuagint bible)
1:13 “for God made not death, neither hath he pleasure in the destruction of
the living..for He created all things that they might have their being: and the
generations of the world were healthful; and there is no poison of destruction,
nor the kingdom of death upon the earth (for righteousness is immortal). Does
it not say in John 8:32, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make
you free? The solution therefore for us to have a lot of happiness, a lot of
health, and to have full relationships with ourselves, our neighbour, our
enemy, with our brother could all be achieved if we understood all the
spiritual pursuits our Father - God has urged us to follow.
He
wants us to learn all the spiritual laws. He wants us to master them so that He
can entrust us with powers that will make us just like Him. In the process of
acquiring these powers, wisdom, and love, we will be living paradise within us
and around us.
It is
only with our reintegration or our re-familiarization with the basic principles
of God that we will have happiness on a daily basis. Happiness is a fruit of
the holy spirit and we will have to acquire this fruit.
Science
is showing that happiness creates a strong immune system, it alters DNA, making
it produce new cells. Happiness, silence and love are wells of life, they are
the tree of life. If we really want to understand life, then we must find the
obstacles that:
1) have
removed these three aforementioned elements (happiness, silence, and love) from
our lives, or
2)
prevent us from acquiring these three elements in our lives.
and
remove these obstacles from ourselves.
In the
book of Genesis, it speaks of a tree that produces good and bad fruits. What is
this tree? It is simple. It is everyone of us. The good fruit we produce when
we have fulfilled God’s logic and the bad we produce from our diabolical
egoism. If we mimic Jesus’ life then God’s presence will be great within us.
But we think that Christ died. It says that He was raised. Where did he go?
Just like an airplane which takes off and then lands again, likewise Jesus came
down somewhere. Therefore He must be somewhere. If He receives signals that are
emitted from each one of us through electromagnetic waves, and these signals
are:
a)
messages of love from our brains,
b)
messages from the temples of sacrifice- which are our heads, because we have made conscious
decisions to rid ourselves of bad habits in His name. We have sacrificed our
old selves.
then He
will come to visit us. Can you
imagine your happiness? It will be even greater because at every
minute and every moment, He will talk to us through:
a) the
Holy spirit
b) the
angels
c) His
presence.
He will
strengthen us in our struggles and our lives will be pleasant without requiring
any particular reason. We will be walking and rejoicing in the fact that we are
alive, we are talking, we have friends and that we are rational human beings
that can evolve.
Many
claim that the cell cannot live because it reproduces new cells that are like
photocopies of the first one. These new cells lose their force after being
reproduced so many times from the prototype. This happens in photocopiers, mind
you there are photocopiers today that can print better than the originals. In
our DNA, the same thing happens when the fruits of the Holy Spirit are missing
and are not giving a person life. The
person’s cells will reproduce but not with the same quality as the original. We
come to know it as old age.
A
person’s life is created psycho emotionally by how he manifests or reacts to
the everyday stimuli from the world. It depends on if he adopts and accepts
these stimuli or reject them. When we are not familiar with God’s principles
which manifest themselves with the Holy Spirit (like love, patience, kindness
etc) we are led to a road with a dead end. When God’s qualities continually
surround us then our dna produce and give birth to greater new cells than the
ones we had originally. This is because the feelings that are generated by the
presence of God in our lives, create indescribable happiness. We can very
easily dismiss this fact if we have not tried it, if we have not acquired the
holy ghost, or if we have never experienced it in our lives. The Lord Himself
stated “the spirit gives life”. Scientists observe and research people who have
been influenced (let us also
say affected) by negative
information from this world. They have found that these people have misery,
anger, lies and complaining as their best man.
The
people chosen for the researcher’s case study are people who live and exist
under adiabolical emotional
world. (This may sound extreme but everyone who does not serve God as master
has a diabolical master). The researchers forget that their subjects
face a lot of problems. It is only natural that their observations will be
incomplete. These researchers have not observed the cells of a man of God, and
when I refer to the man of God, I am referring to Christ. They have not studied
the cells of Elijah, or Moses, or John the theologian (John the disciple of
Christ) who have followed Christ verbatim. There is one clarification I
would like to make here. A man of God is not someone who introduces himself as
being one. It is not even one who wears special clothing or completed certain
schooling. A man of God is someone that God Himself has introduced. The Voice
of God has introduced Jesus as the complete man of God. Everyone else is a
photocopy who is lacking something.
Even
nature reveals that trees exist whose seeds if we plant them in fertile land,
will grow and become better trees than the ones they came from. A man of God
does not reveal himself or introduce himself as being one especially when he
brags about his problems, his pain, and the many worries in his life. God could
train people but he does not punish them.
There
is a difference between training and punishment. We go to the gym willingly to
train and endure pain in order that we may gain muscles. It is the same with
God, we willingly subscribe to his school and we study.
God
gave his life as ransom for many. He gave his life so that:
1) we
don’t have pain
2) we
don’t have disease
3)
death has no power over us
4) we
don’t place others above us but as our equals, our friends
5) we
can establish this kingdom in heaven but also on earth.
Τhe man of God by his mere nature
has to be master of all.
If our
spiritual efforts don’t bring any results, we must redo the lesson so that we
may understand. Whoever thinks that God is pain, depression, sadness, has not
known the real God. The Christian God is regeneration, health, incorruptible
life. If these elements do not exist in our lives we are lacking understanding.
If as men of God we are experiencing the same problems as the rest of the
world, we are sailing away from land instead of towards it. God and His people
have to become the solution to the world’s problems. This is what it means to
be Christian. If we don’t become God’s people then the world will provide us
with support and not God. Our happiness and our sadness will depend on what we
have, who we love, who said nice things about us and not on the very things
that define God.
My
siblings, God is life, God is happiness. Today let’s regenerate, let’s rejoice,
let’s give love, let’s give a helping hand. Today and now that we can, let’s do
the good because tomorrow we won’t be able to and our sadness will be great
because we didn’t enjoy ourselves enough, because we didn’t give love, because
we didn’t forgive, because we didn’t recognize God’s will, and further more we
didn’t do that which we wanted to do. I hope that we can conceive and
understand God’s happiness, the happiness of the holy spirit and become
partakers of it eternally. My siblings, our body is like a country, a nation.
Each one of us is the prime minister of our country. If our prime minister -
which is our brain, does not have good advisors, good thoughts, the country
(our body) will be a place to avoid because it will become a garbage dump, where
everyone brings all the waste that they collect and store in their lives.
Our
cells are the inhabitants of this country. Let
us not destroy the members of our country with frivolous thoughts which are
heard around us and we accept them as great wisdom. Let us not change our body
into a country with sick members. If our prime minister, our mind has good
advisors, and is governed by God’s wisdom, our country will always be pretty
and full of life. In 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 it states: “Know ye not that ye
are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of
God, him shall God destroy;” If the prime minister in our country is not God’s
wisdom but the wisdom that destroys the land, the wicked wisdom that comes from
lies, sin, and ego then the citizens of this land (which are our cells) will
throw their garbage and waste everywhere and the land will be filled with bad
odours, sickness, and other unforeseen conditions. May it not be!
The
Voice of God, my siblings is God’s wisdom, it is the prime minister’s
education. It is every prime minister’s advisor. Let us listen to it, and
we will see our land, our body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit be lit
with life. If the Voice of God comes to our land, our body will become a place
we would like to inhabit. It will not only be fertile, clean, full of life but
a living example example to the world for many nations to follow. Christ
reveals that the man of God is like a city built on terms and conditions.
If we want to live, we will be careful and we will change:
1)
First: the way we will communicate with ourselves, with our God, with our
colleagues. We will observe what we give and what we take. We will give God’s example, His wisdom, love, a good
word. We will be bearers of good news and we receive whatever good our
neighbour gives us.
2)
Second: We will be able to determine how fast our body is corrupting by how
easily we get sick. Why are we getting sick? Why is our spirit sick? We will
have to change our way of thinking, since this is what is life giving and also
grants us life. We will have to correct our mistake. The mistake here is
that our spirit is undernourished because it is not of God’s spirit.
Imagine
Christ with the flu, with fever, telling Peter give me a Depon ( a European pill equivalent to
Tylenol or Advil) because I have a headache today. Was not Christ
biologically the same as us? Whatever one person can do, every one else can
also do if they copy him. Nobody’s body corrupts or gets sick without reason.
Let’s find the reason.
3)
Bodily corruption comes from complex problems that our brain cannot give a
quick solution because our brain does not have sufficient knowledge to prevent
negative situations. As a result each one of us develops regret and sadness (and many times other emotions also
like anger, fear, etc). The solution to this problem has been found in the
Voice of God (the bible, speeches, interpretations and definitions).
4)
Sickness, corruption, and death can be defeated if we put God’s word and the
regenerative teachings of the Voice of God in our lives on a daily basis. In
this manner we will overcome and defeat corruption and death.
5) The
body gets life and energy from food, but we will need self control. The mind’s
energy level increases if we feed it with God’s word. Once we understand His
word, we will be faced with many challenges. These challenges will help man to
live eternally because through them we will be motivated to live. Studying,
researching, challenging ourselves and understanding the meaning of God will
make our mind and body eternal. Our mind requires a reason to live and
motivation for it to work, because without this it falls into dementia (a brain
disease that reduces cognitive function). The challenges and the motivation
given by the word of God is nourishment for the mind.
6)
God’s wisdom and the teachings of the Voice of God create a strong immune
system because it causes happiness. Happiness produces endorphins and the
wellness hormone, dopamine. My siblings, discard anything that steals your
happiness. It is worth our while to do so because we will live forever. Through
our happiness others will copy us and we will become positive poles of
attraction in our society. My siblings, there exists another way of life and
way of thinking, and it is the way that has been shown to us by Jesus. It is
this way that we should copy from now on. May it be, may it be, amen.
