James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?
56) Aren’t
all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?”
57) And they
took offense at him. But Jesus said to them. “A prophet is not without honor
except in his own town and in his own home.”
58) And he
did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

my brothers, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11) Put on
the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil.

wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.

was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the
dragon fought and his angels,

prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9) And the
great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which
deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were
cast out with him.

heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and
the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our
brothers is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

above the stars of God: I will sit also on the mount of the congregation, in
the sides of the north:
14) I will
ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15) Yet you
shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16) They that
see you shall narrowly look on you, and consider you, saying, Is this man that
made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
DANIEL CHAPTER 7

till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment

been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the
sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the
sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets
and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created.
14) You are
the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you so: you were on the holy
mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the middle of the stones of
fire.
15) You were
perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till iniquity was
found in you.
16) By the
multitude of your merchandise they have filled the middle of you with violence,
and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain
of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the middle of the
stones of fire.

From going to and from in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
3) And the
LORD said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like
him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and eschews
evil? And still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved me against him,
to destroy him without cause.
LUKE CHAPTER 10

seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject to
us through your name.

give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of
the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but
rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been
plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man
tame him.

always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and
cutting himself with stones.

he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

with a loud voice, and said, what have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the
most high God? I adjure you by God, that you torment me not.

3) But of the
fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, you shall
not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.
4) And the
serpent said to the woman, you shall not surely die:
5) For God
does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and
you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
